New Relic haven�t however stated what device they used but we are guessing that it was an iPhone 4 or iPod judging by the infographics they released.<br /><br />This information showed that on average, pages load in 9.6 seconds using iOS 4 and just 4.1 seconds when running iOS 5. Apple have always spent a lot of time with the rendering engine that is built into Mobile Safari and it is a good thing too. Even if you don�t upgrade your iPhone to the new iPhone 4S you will still see an increase in web performance if you update your software. iOS 5 is available as a free update for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.</span> </span></span>
