JailbreakMe.com was recently sold to an untrustworthy owner and we are reminding all jailbreak enthusiasts to be aware of this. JailbreakMe is a service that allows iOS device owners to jailbreak their device and has always been very safe and trusted.

This jailbreaking tool is now going to be hosted on a new domain name and the news comes straight from jailbreak developer and iPhone hacker MuscleNerd. He sent out a series of tweets where he informed his followers that Conceited Apps has sold the domain jailbreakme.com. They has previously allowed Comex to host his jailbreaking tool here.

MuscleNerd stated that jailbreak enthusiasts recognize the domain name as it was where the JailbreakMe tool was hosted but the domain name has now been sold to an absolutely unknown, untrusted and unsafe owner and there is no web-based jailbreaking solution available here now. As you can see, MuscleNerd has stated that Comex� JailbreakMe tool will be available on the new jailbreak.me domain and it will be available for anyone who wants to jailbreak their iOS device running on iOS 4.3.3.
We are warning everyone to stay away from the JailbreakMe.com website as the new owner could use it to spread iOS malware.
