The latest version of Facebook has a lot of people confused when it comes to viewing their Most Recent news feed. This latest version 10 update of the official Facebook app has moved the ability to choose various data feeds from its previously prominent position at the top of the app. The functionality is still there and in this post we are going to tell you exactly how to find it.

Facebook is possibly the biggest and most innovative social network in the world but they do have a history of bringing confusion with their app updates. If you've updated your app and found that your personalized news feed is a complete mess and that your posts aren't time synchronized then all you have to do is follow our step below to bring it back to how you like it. If you are an iPad user this won't affect you as the Show most Recent stories option is still where it was before. All you have to do is swipe from the left towards the right of the display to bring up the menu pane and click on the little cog beside the News Feed.

For iPhone users you will first have to launch the official Facebook app. From here select the More option at the far right bottom tab bar. Scroll down the list of options until you come to the Feeds section of the table. Rather than tapping on this you need to select the > chevron at the right hand side to expand the Feeds section. From here select Most Recent and when you go back into your News Feeds tab, your timeline will now be filtered to show the most recent posts from your connections.

This latest update has caused a lot of confusion and we have no idea why they have hidden away the Most Recent feed but we are sure they have their own reasons. If you do want to see the most recent posts from your friends and family then just follow the steps above to take back control of your Facebook app.
