Make Your Own Google URL Shortener Service

I am using google custom url shortening service more then one year. Yesterday one of my facebook friend ask me "how to setup Own URL Shortening Service?". This tutorial is for him.

Make Own URL Shortening Service

You have to sign up with google apps with your domain. Click Here
After Complete Signup, go to google market place & search "Google Short Links" or Click here.
Google Short Links - Add It Now
Click "Add It Now" & Submit agreement button.
Now go to the domain cpanel create a "CNAME" for the short subdomain & point it to "ghs.google.com"

Under Short Links settings you can add more then one URL, change Additional Short Links settings and also disable or remove this service from your domain anytime without lossing your data.

In "Extra service settings" Tab you can have "IP Whitelist, Deletion limit, API access, Access restrictions, Logon settings, Miscellaneous options"
