Evasi0n 1.0.3 was released yesterday but today, Evad3rs have pushed out another update to Evasi0n iOS 7.x jailbreak. This brings us to version 1.0.4 which includes an important security fix related to the untether which was first reported by Winocm, as well as a proper fix for boot loop issues on the Retina iPad mini.
The official changelog for version 1.0.4 states that Evasi0n7 was updated to 1.0.4 with important untether security fixes and no more iPad mini Retina JB issues. Existing jailbreak users will receive the Evasion7 1.0.4 untether security update through Cydia. This means tha tif you have already jailbroken on iOS 7.x all you have to do is update via Cydia. You don't have to restore/re-jailbreak using the Windows of Mac OS X tool.
Earlier today, Saurik released a minor update to Cydia Substrate, and a major update to WinterBoard with full compatibility for iOS 7 and ARM64 devices like the iPhone 5s, iPad Air and Retina iPad mini. The updated version of Evasi0n7 is now live on Cydia and all you have to do is hit the Changes tab in Cydia and tap on Upgrade to get the latest version.
