The Facebook iOS app has been updated for the iPhone and the iPad. This latest update is version number 6.6 and brings with it some great features. This iOS app now looks more like the desktop website and Facebook has brought some rather useful features to the mobile platform including comment editing, photo comments and more.
The most useful feature that we can see if the ability to edit Facebook comment on iOS . Being able to correct typos or completely re-write what you have previously said is now something that is possible on iOS.
If you like to make comment you are going to love the fact that you can now add images to comments on Facebook posts. This is something that those using the web interface have been able to do for quite some time. With the Facebook for iOS app previously lagging behind the web version it really is great to see it getting some attention. The new updated iOS Facebook App allows you to edit your posts and comments and tap to see all your changes. You can also add a photo when you comment, express yourself with icons when you post to someone's timeline and get to privacy shortcuts by tapping the lock by your name in the main menu.
Facebook was one of the first companies to get a refreshed app out for iOS 7 and this really is great to see. Twitter is sure to be next and who knows what companies will follow. Let's just hope it continues and we see more apps getting updated for iOS 7.
