With the Apple App Store whenever you come across a real gem you can share it very easily with your friends. All you have to do is send your friends a URL and that�s it. They can enjoy the great App that you have discovered. With so many Apps on the App Store having the ability to share them so easily is a great advantage.
If you have a jailbroken iDevice and you use the Cydia App Store you can use a couple of tweaks that will allow you to share apps directly with your friends too. It isn�t as easy as the Apple App Store sharing method but if you want to do it you can.
The first thing you need to have of course is a jailbroken iDevice. After that you need to start Cydia and find the package you want to share. The full list of your installed Cydia applications can be found under the Manage icon and then selecting packages. The next thing you have to do is tap on your selection to proceed to the details screen. At the top you will see an option to Change Package Settings. You need to tap and hold this option and it will bring up a menu asking whether you wish to open or copy the package and then select copy.
Now you will have a direct link to the application and you can then send it to friends and they will be able to find your recommendation right away. It is a great way to share you app finds with your friends. You do have to make sure that the other device that you wish to send your links to has the source from which you found the package otherwise they won�t be able to locate it.
