Apple has just released another iOS update this time called iOS 4.3.5. This is a minor update to patch issues with the certificate verification. The good news for all jailbreak fans is that we can confirm that Redsn0w can jailbreak this iOS version on the iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad 1 and iPod Touch 4G/3G. It is however limited to a tethered boot and the iPad 2 is not supported.

If you are relying on a carrier unlock you are advised to stay away from using Redsn0w. If not, here is how you can use Redsn0w to get a tethered jailbreak on iOS 4.3.5.

The first thing you have to do is download iOS 4.3.5 and iOS 4.3.4 for your device. Next download Redsn0w 0.9.8b4 and make sure that you are running the latest version of iTunes which is 10.4.

Next you need to start Redsn0w and browse for the iOS 4.3.3 firmware file and point it towards Redsn0w. Once this file has been recognized click next and you will be taken to a new window. Here you need to click on install Cydia leaving all the other options. When done just click next. On the next screen you will be instructed to shut down your device and plug it into your computer. Follow the instructions given and then click next to continue.

After this your device will need to be put into DFU mode. The instructions will be on the screen so just follow them. Once you device is in DFU mode Redsn0w will jailbreak your device. You dont need to do anything here but wait until it is finished. Thats it, your iDevice will now have a tethered jailbreak running iOS 4.3.5.
